Natural Fertility Treatment
Each patient and their condition is unique. Treatment is ALWAYS individualised.
We take the time with all those visiting our clinic to properly diagnose and assess your condition, including any related medical history. All of our subsequent treatment sessions will then be based upon the forms of treatment we recommend as most suited to treat your condition.
An estimate to the length of treatment for natural fertility is roughly 6 months. This is because it takes 150 days (approximately 5 months) for a primordial follicle to reach ovulation. By the fourth month we should have a good idea of how treatment is faring.
During the initial consultation
This is 60 minutes long. In this initial meeting we would discuss the patient’s medical history with focus on fertility related issues. A treatment plan/approach is agreed between us and the use of fertility temperature charts explained if necessary. I offer the choice of treatment solely with herbs, or acupuncture, or the combination of both; and we would discuss the benefits of each so the patient could choose the best to suit her lifestyle and needs. We will also touch on lifestyle, diet, exercise, and lots of tips will be given to make the fertility as stress-free and manageable as possible.
Follow-up consultations and treatment
Acupuncture treatment follow-ups are 60 minutes. Energy-bodywork, moxibustion, cupping will be included where necessary at no extra cost. There is a 30 minute buffer time between appointments to allow time for extra discussion when needed (extra charge incurred). This is particularly helpful to discuss choosing IVF clinics, different IVF protocols, looking at diets/lifestyle/supplements etc in more depth.
Herbal medicine follow-up consultations are 30 minutes and once a month.
We are proud to have our own private clinic pharmacy, which enables us to ensure the quality of any formulas, soaks, or capsules we prescribe. We only source our herbs through suppliers from the “Approved Suppliers Scheme” which are audited by trained pharmaceutical auditors. They ensure the herbs are free of harmful substances (such as heavy metals) and come from a reputable source.
We offer a variety of treatment packages to suit, please look at our Pricing Structure for more details.
